Black Alumni Reunion

Black Alumni Reunion (BAR) is a reminder of the rich history and deep commitment of our university’s Black graduates and friends — starting 200 years ago when John Newton Templeton first stepped onto campus as 91̽»¨â€™s first Black student.

This one-of-a-kind alumni celebration dates back more than four decades and welcomes all alumni to come together every three years to celebrate the Black alumni community for what is the university’s largest alumni gathering outside of Homecoming.

The 2025 planning committees will be creating a reunion weekend full of formal and informal opportunities to connect and engage on behalf of the university’s students, faculty, programs and places.

Check this website often for updates and details as they become available.

We can’t wait to see you in 2025!
