On-Campus Advising

This website is for students who are enrolled in the BSIHS program and who are taking courses at the Athens and/or Regional Campus, in addition to online IHS courses.

If you are completing the BSIHS entirely online, please visit  for eCampus BSIHS students.

BSIHS Advising

Your advisor is available to assist you with; understanding your DARS report, class selection and registration, creating a degree completion plan, answering questions about university policy, or serving as a connection to other campus support offices. If you are in the Pre-IHS major, it is particularly important to meet with your advisor regularly to ensure you are on track to be admitted into the major.

Each semester, a registration hold will be placed on BSIHS students accounts. You will need to meet with your advisor to have this hold lifted before you can register for classes. This hold will not be lifted until you have attended an academic advising meeting.

Please contact gilloglt@ohio.edu for questions regarding academic advising.

Additional Advising Resources
