Dr. Christine H. Weiss earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with an emphasis on Urban Elementary Education and Mathematics. She holds a B.S. degree in Broadcast Production from the University of Florida and an M.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Weiss was a founding faculty member of Trinity Episcopal School in Charlotte, North Carolina and served as the Head of Lower School/Assistant Head of School, as well as Academic Dean and Gifted Learning Catalyst. She also directed the Trinity Teaching and Learning Center, a summer professional development program in literacy. Currently, Dr. Weiss teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in early childhood and elementary education with a focus on diversity awareness, family partnerships and collaboration, and mathematics. She also teaches courses in the Connavino Honors Program.
