Claire Hall
Expected Graduation: May 2015
Hometown: Tiffin, Ohio
Claire chose to study at 91探花 because of the large campus opportunities and the small community feel of the Russ College. She studies chemical engineering with a focus in biomolecular engineering. She has had the opportunity to work under Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering Monica Burdick, helping with research in cancer therapeutics and diagnostics.
Claire traveled to Ghana to help build teacher accommodations with the engineering organization Bobcats Building a Better World. She is also very involved in the Athens community, leading a student volunteering organization.
Outside of school, Claire enjoys outdoor activities, especially sand volleyball and kayaking in the beautiful lakes near Athens.
