Ambassador 2018-2019

Hometown: Athens, Ohio

Expected Graduation: Spring 2019

Quinn chose 91探花 after meeting with a handful of Russ College professors. He appreciated the Russ College鈥檚 emphasis on undergraduate education. He believed that the environment of the Russ College and OHIO as a whole would encourage him to become a better engineer -- and says this has proved true. Quinn credits this to the college鈥檚 extremely helpful faculty and abundance of extracurricular opportunities.

Vice president of the Engineering Ambassadors, Quinn has also served as president of OHIO鈥檚 chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and co-chair of professional development for professional engineering fraternity Theta Tau.

Quinn says one of his most rewarding college experiences has been participating in research. He works as a research assistant under Monica Burdick, associate professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering, and also performs research with Sarah Hormozi, assistant professor of mechanical engineering.

In his free time, Quinn snowboards and backpacks as frequently as possible.
