The Digital Enterprise Collaboratory
The Digital Enterprise Collaboratory (The DEC) is a physical-virtual site for conducting digital engineering research, education and training. The DEC supports digital transformation efforts by allowing industry, academia, and government teams to easily collaborate through a turnkey facility with access to state-of-the-art digital engineering hardware, software, and videoconferencing capabilities.
The DEC enables users to test and de-risk their digital enterprise solutions outside of their current work environment thereby removing technological and operational barriers.
There is a critical need for this capability for industry and government teams. Workforce training and software tools are also available through existing agreements with Siemens, Dassault Systemes, Ansys, MathWorks and others.
Here are some key points about the DDS:
- Purpose: The DEC serves as an Outside The Fence facility for exploring digital transformation solutions by enabling seamless collaboration among multiple stakeholders.
