Consortium for Overseas Student Teaching (COST)
91̽»¨ is a member institution of COST, the Consortium for Overseas Student Teaching. The COST program allows teacher candidates to fulfill part of their Professional Internship II requirements while living abroad and student teaching. The COST experience provides professional and personal growth in ways that are increasingly important for teaching in the United States.
Highlights:
- Living and working for an extended period in a foreign country will help you broaden your outlook on the world, develop a greater appreciation of other cultures, and increase global awareness.
- Become a more effective educator by being open and flexible to different perspectives and ways of living in the world.
- Experience cultural immersion without needing prior fluency in a foreign language.
