Social Service Volunteer Experience
A requirement for the social work major is that the student have at least 20 hours of volunteer experience to be accepted in the social work major. In order to support this there is a requirement in SW 2601c that the student have 20 hours of volunteer experience in a social service agency. This course is taught on all six campuses, so these volunteer experiences are occurring throughout southeast Ohio.
