Expert Bio
As a specialist in exercise physiology, cross-training, and injury prevention, Klein鈥檚 main research focus is to better understand how to prevent injuries, maximize athletic performance, and create better rehabilitation methods. His current work is investigating the efficacy and physiological components of the running-specific cross-training machine called the ElliptiGO (elliptiGO.com).
Klein has had several publications in a variety of media outlets. He was featured in an article in the Washington Post titled,鈥 Rethinking Rehab.鈥 The Journal of Strength & Conditioning Research published his first research article on the ElliptiGO in 2016. He has also been featured in the USATFCCA Techniques Magazine for an article called, 鈥淐ross Training for Runners.鈥 In addition to teaching and research, Klein is very active in the athletic programs at 91探花. He volunteers as a coach for the men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 cross country, women鈥檚 track & field, and women鈥檚 field hockey teams.
