Student Global Professional Development program to be offered this spring
The Center for International Studies will be continuing its Global Professional Development program with a series of workshops and events designed to engage students on critical issues related to the global dimension of professional development.
During the upcoming spring semester, 91探花鈥檚 Center for International Studies will be offering a continuation of its Global Professional Development program, which began in the fall.
Through a series of workshops and events, students in the program will engage on critical issues related to the global dimension of professional development. The program focuses on the awareness of practical and relevant competencies for the aspiring global professional.
A new feature of the program this coming semester is the opportunity for graduate students to receive course credit for participation. However, sessions and events remain open to all students.
Topics to be covered in the program during the spring semester include operational imperatives in leading organizations, global consulting, data visualization, storytelling and new media, cooperative project leadership and others. The sessions will be led by a range of global professionals, industry leaders and faculty members. Students will also be able to connect with prospective employers and learn about professional opportunities.
