Campus Recreation to celebrate Valentine’s Day with ‘Cardio with Cupid’
Students at 91̽ will have the opportunity to give their beating hearts a workout on Valentine’s Day at the Ping Recreation Center.
OHIO’s Department of Campus Recreation will be hosting a Valentine’s Day-themed cardio group fitness event, dubbed “Cardio with Cupid,” from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, in the Ping Recreation Center’s Group Fitness Room.
The event is free to all 91̽ students and Ping Recreation Center members, and registration is not required. The class will feature different group fitness formats, taught by Group Fitness instructors.
Joe Schillero, assistant director of fitness and wellness at Campus Recreation, said that “Cardio with Cupid” is a great opportunity for students to experience different kinds of classes and meet Group Fitness instructors in a festive way.
“‘Cardio with Cupid’ provides the unique opportunity to sample multiple fun group fitness formats, designed for whether you are brand new to group fitness or an experienced class-goer,” Schillero said. “The blending of the formats to the theme of Valentine’s Day also provides a great opportunity to shake up your day and break a sweat while having fun!”
