OHIO online master鈥檚 programs ranked among top in nation by U.S. News & World Report
Four of 91探花鈥檚 online master鈥檚 programs, as well as its overall online bachelor鈥檚 program, were ranked among the nation鈥檚 best by U.S. News and World Report in rankings released today.
The four master鈥檚 programs 鈥 business administration, education, engineering, and information technology 鈥 were ranked among the top 100 programs in the nation. They are among 52 programs ranging from associate鈥檚 to master鈥檚 offered at OHIO, with another 18 moving toward launch, said 91探花 Senior Vice Provost for Instructional Innovation Bradley Cohen.

Of the 34,871 students at OHIO, approximately 46 percent are enrolled in some online class, and about 26 percent are enrolled exclusively online. About one-third of OHIO鈥檚 faculty regularly teach online, ensuring that all students have access to the same high-quality education, regardless of their location.

Duane Nellis said. 鈥淭his high-quality educational experience is making Ohio into a national destination for online education, and the rankings show our foundation is strong as we continue to grow.鈥
The Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education once again led OHIO鈥檚 rankings, placing 34th out of more than 300 online graduate programs nationally, and the best in Ohio. The Patton College offers online master鈥檚 degrees in curriculum and instruction, reading education, coaching education and soccer coaching education, among other online offerings.
The Russ College of Engineering and Technology placed 37th in the nation and tied for second-best in Ohio out of nearly 100 programs ranked by U.S. News. It offers master鈥檚 degrees in civil engineering, electrical engineering and engineering management.
For the first time, the Scripps College of Communication was ranked in the Best Online Information Technology, placing 41st overall and second in Ohio. The ranking includes information systems, computer science, computer engineering and software engineering programs.
The College of Business鈥 online MBA program ranked 82nd out of more than 300 programs, second-best in Ohio.

OHIO was also ranked in a tie for 264th for its online bachelor鈥檚 programs as the University continues to add to its offerings. The rankings were compiled from information gathered by U.S. News and World Report in the summer and fall of 2018.
