National Civil Rights Conference accepting submissions for 2020 meeting at Miami University
The is calling for papers, panel sessions, workshops and artistic productions for this year’s session June 22-23 at Miami University. This is the first time the conference will be held outside of a southern state.
Any aspects of human and civil rights in materials are welcome, but priority will be given to submissions that directly relate to this year’s theme: “Rise, Advocate, Educate and Cooperate: The Challenge of Change.”
Proposals are to be submitted electronically, and must include: the title of the material, author name(s) and affiliation(s), a 200-250 word abstract and contact information for the submitter. All proposals can be emailed to Keith Parker at kdparker@civilrightsconference.com.
The deadline for submissions is April 1.
