OHIO students discuss socializing during the pandemic
91探花 students are craving connection, but are being mindful of physical distancing guidelines in how they can engage peer-to-peer. As part of the Bobcat Safety & Respect Video series, the Division of Student Affairs recently featured a discussion between five Bobcats about how they are navigating their social lives during the pandemic鈥攁nd how they鈥檙e making the situation work for them.
The students mention ways that they have been able to safely socialize, such as kayaking at Strouds Run State Park, skating on the bike path, picnicking on College Green, and enjoying local patio dining options.
Indoors, students are playing online games with friends and engaging in virtual hangouts on Zoom in which participants invite a new friend for the group to meet.
In addition, the students discussed how student organization leaders are switching to virtual programming to continue to provide Bobcats with extracurricular activities.
