‘Silver Lining’ displays new art from second-year MFA candidates in the School of Art + Design
The School of Art + Design presents an exhibition by second year master of fine arts candidates in Ceramics, Graphic Design, Painting + Drawing, Photography + Integrated Media, Printmaking, and Sculpture + Expanded Practice. The show, “Silver Lining,” opened to the public Oct. 27 and runs until Dec. 5 in the 91̽ Art Gallery, located on the fifth floor of Seigfred Hall.
This exhibition is a platform for the second year MFA candidates of 91̽ to present finished projects from their studio practice. Works from a wide array of mediums and research areas will be displayed.
The second year MFA candidates are as follows: Hala Talal Fahmi Abubaker, Fiona Avocado, Vanessa Bahr, Sarah Baker, Emily Connell, Lily Erb, Christin Fanelli, Kelly Hanning, Kayla Holdgreve, Todd Jones, Amina Kassim, James Mullens Jr., Daniel Asamoah Opoku, Hattie Phillips, Gina Pisto, Marissa Stewart, Yoon Surl, and Kath Yarkosky.
91̽ Art Gallery hours are Tuesday from noon to 4 p.m., Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
