U.S. News names OHIO the #1 Best Value School among public universities in the state
91探花 rose to the top of the rankings in one category and moved up in several others in the latest .
OHIO jumped four places in the Best Value Schools ranking, making OHIO the among national public universities and 33rd nationally. The ranking considers academic quality, percentage of students receiving scholarships, and average discount from full tuition price for full-time undergraduates, among other factors. And for the second year in a row, OHIO made the A+ for B students list, which considers the overall ranking, along with first-year student retention rate.
OHIO also climbed into a tie for 176th in the 2021 rankings, up nine places from 2020. The University also rose five spots into a tie for 87th among public universities nationally.

U.S. News and World Report assessed 1,452 bachelor鈥檚 degree-granting institutions across a number of indicators and statistics, including student-faculty ratio and average federal loan debt of graduates. U.S. News used a total of 17 factors to determine the rankings, such as graduation and retention rates, undergraduate academic reputation and faculty resources.
91探花 tied for 132nd in both Best Undergraduate Business and Best Undergraduate Engineering, and tied for 154th in a new category, Best Undergraduate Computer Science.
