Self-Care for Student Activists
Doing important work such as engaging in challenging conversations requires energy, resilience, and a clear mind, none of which are possible without adequate self-care. Don't forget to put on your own oxygen mask before assisting other passengers.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Flu Shots on Campus
Call to schedule your free flu shot during the month of November. Appointments are available on Nov. 5, 9, and 12 from 9 a.m.-noon under the tents at Scott Quad. Call (740) 592-7100 and select option 6 to schedule your appointment.

SIX THINGS TO KNOW FOR SPRING SEMESTER

Course Listing
Visit MyOHIO Student Center starting Nov. 6 to view for Spring 2020. You'll be able to see what format each class will take before you register, including in-person, online, hybrid, synchronous, and asynchronous.

Housing Survey
OHIO is increasing on-campus capacity to accommodate as many residents as possible. First- and second-year students must complete the Spring Housing Confirmation form on by Nov. 16 to let us know what your preference is.

Residence Halls
All students living on campus are expected to vacate their rooms, leaving no belongings behind, by Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. Spring room assignments for all eligible students will be sent by Dec. 18, along with updates to safety protocols on campus.

Calendar Changes
Spring semester will run Jan. 19-April 24 and contain three spaced out mini-breaks in the place of spring break.

Mandatory Testing
All on-campus students will have mandatory COVID-19 testing weekly, and off-campus students will test bi-weekly. 

Class Format
Synchronous courses – those held in real-time and led by an instructor – will increase in order to expand peer engagement.

CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT

Virtual Tailgate
Join fellow Bobcats for a virtual tailgate this evening at 6 p.m. There will be OHIO prizes and giveaways, exclusive video content and an appearance by DJ A-Roc!  tonight.
