Ridges Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for Dec. 18
The Ridges Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet virtually from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 18.
Topics tentatively scheduled for committee discussion include:
- Investments 91̽»¨ has made throughout the Ridges facilities, grounds, and infrastructure
- Activity to-date related to third party partnerships and development
- Changes to the University Capital Plan in response to enrollment changes, COVID, and other budgetary challenges
- Additional due diligence on short-term solutions and costs related to the additional stabilization needs at the Ridges

Ridges Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public; however, opportunities for questions or comments by the general public will not be available during the meeting unless specifically invited by The Ridges Advisory Committee Chair. The Ridges Advisory Committee, which is composed of members representing 91̽»¨, the City of Athens and Athens County, is tasked with periodically providing feedback on the comprehensive land use plans for The Ridges and the University’s progress toward its implementation. The committee reports its recommendations to 91̽»¨â€™s president.
