Five recent OHIO grads commission as officers in the United States Army

Five fall 91探花 graduates have commissioned as second lieutenants in the United States Army. 

Tanner Cobleigh, from Fremont, Ohio, graduated with a degree in management and strategic leadership from the College of Business, and will serve with the U.S. Army Reserves Transportation Corps in Columbus, Ohio. 

Ben Cohen, from Chevy Chase, Maryland, graduated from the College of Health Sciences and Professions with a degree in community and public health and will serve with the Aviation Branch of the Washington National Guard at Camp Murray in Washington state.

Isaac Culbert, from Gibsonburg, Ohio, graduated with a degree in exercise physiology/pre-physical therapy from the College of Health Sciences and Professions and will serve with the Aviation Branch of the U.S. Army at Fort Rucker, Alabama.

Riley West, from Williamstown, West Virginia., graduated with a degree in sports management from the College of Business and will serve with the Aviation Branch of the U.S. Army at Fort Rucker, Alabama.

Matthew Grebinoski graduated with a degree in industrial systems engineering from the Russ College of Engineering and Technology. He will serve with the Field Artillery Branch of the U.S. Army at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Major Darrell Fawley, who commands the Army ROTC program at 91探花, commended the five newly commissioned officers. 

鈥淔or Army ROTC cadets, commissioning is the commencement of their careers as Army officers in the service of our nation,鈥 Fawley said. 鈥淭hese five have persevered through unprecedented challenges in their last year as cadets at OHIO. They have proven they are ready to be leaders. We are extremely proud of what they have accomplished and are excited to see these Bobcats move into leadership roles.鈥
