OHIO, CHSP to host annual gerontology conference April 14-16

91探花 and the College of Health Sciences and Professions will host the Ohio Association of Gerontology and Education's (OAGE) 44th Annual Ohio Professional and Student Conference on Aging from April 14-16.
All conference events will be hosted virtually. This year's conference theme is "Aging in a Digital World."
Dr. Julie Brown, a professor within CHSP's Department of Social and Public Health, will serve as the conference's keynote speaker on April 14. The conference program notes that Brown's keynote will highlight the role of assistive technologies, specifically those that can be used to promote aging in place. She will also discuss challenges that may hinder their use and ethical considerations that merit attention.
The multi-day conference will provide a unique opportunity for students, professionals in the aging network, and faculty to attend educational sessions with nationally recognized experts, who are making presentations on current research and practice issues in aging. Participants will also have an opportunity to network with others working in the field of aging.
