Alden Library to re-open to Athens community July 6

91探花 Libraries is pleased to welcome members of the Athens community and friends of the libraries back to Alden Library. Beginning July 6, OHIO will discontinue COVID-mandated access restrictions and re-open Alden Library for all students, faculty, and community users.

Previously, all floors of Alden Library opened for faculty, staff and students only starting on June 22.

All visitors are welcome to browse the stacks for books, request videos at the service desk, or use the study spaces, computers, and printers. Due to a renovation project, the Fine Arts Library on the third floor will remain closed until August. For assistance with books from the Fine Arts collection, please ask at the service desk.

Please note that unvaccinated visitors are required to wear masks and maintain social distance in all University spaces, including Alden Library.
