91探花 suspends Beta Chapter of Delta Tau Delta聽
Earlier today, a notice was sent to the Beta Chapter of Delta Tau Delta from Interim Vice President of Student Affairs, Dr. Jenny Hall-Jones, that the organization has been suspended from 91探花鈥檚 campus for four years. They will be eligible to apply for reinstatement in 2025. Per 91探花's guidelines on the reinstatement or expansion of social fraternities or sororities, the national organization will need to apply for reinstatement should they wish to return to 91探花 at that time.
Through the University鈥檚 internal investigation process, the group was found responsible for the following Student Code of Conduct violations:
- D02a: Furnishing false information to University officials.
- D03b: Alcohol Beverages Violation: Selling, distributing, or furnishing alcohol.
- D03c: Alcohol Beverages Violation: Furnishing or causing to be furnished/alcohol to intoxicated persons.
- D03e: Alcohol Beverages Violation: Student organizations.
- D05b: Disruptive Conduct: Causing, inciting, or participating in any disturbance.
- D05c: Disruptive Conduct: Failure to Comply
- D06d: Harmful Behavior: reckless but not accidental behavior.
- D08c: Hazing: Coerced Consumption.
- D16a: Violation of University Policy: Interim 44.102/Presidential health directives.
