Research Computing Advisory Community seeks campus members
The Research Computing IT Advisory Community is looking for new members to help shape the future of Research Computing at 91探花. Membership is open to students, faculty, and staff at the University with an interest in the topic and a willingness to share ideas and listen to the ideas of others. No prior experience or technical expertise is required.
The Research Computing Service improves 91探花鈥檚 research initiatives through service offerings designed to support Principal Investigators and their corresponding data. The service offers centralized administration of computing environments, high-performance computing needs, custom research solutions, and assistance working with external providers.
Advisory communities are an important part of the University鈥檚 IT Governance framework. They provide a means to engage with OIT and influence decisions based on the needs and experiences of participants and, most importantly, to inspire action to meet those needs. Advisory communities will also influence service roadmaps and help inform budget proposals.
