Sustainable Administration Hub Seminar to focus on human resources on April 11

Sustainable Administration Hub

Sustainable Administration Hub Coordinator Dr. Ryan Fogt will lead a Sustainability Seminar on Human Resources at 5 p.m.  on Monday, April 11, in Grover W115.  The seminar will also be available on

The title of the seminar is “People in Progress,” and a panel of speakers from Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion, and OHIO Wellness will talk about many of their ongoing programs, initiatives, and strategies to promote the value of people at our university.

Each panelist will share how their office addresses the goals in the Human Resources section of 91̽’s Sustainability and Climate Action Plan. They will also highlight new programs, trainings, events, and opportunities for all 91̽ employees to help them improve their workplace environment. The seminar will focus on programs and initiatives that have been launched since the start of the pandemic and how they allow for growth within the areas of human resources, wellbeing, and diversity and inclusion. These programs encourage people to work together, value physical, emotional, and mental health, and focus on inclusivity at 91̽ to emphasize the Make Respect Visible campaign.

The panelists include Dr. Fogt, hub coordinator and a professor in 91̽’s Department of Geography, Cat Russell, HR liaison for strategic programming and initiatives for University Human Resources, Dr. Duane Bruce, executive director of Diversity and Inclusion at 91̽, and Annie Laurie Cadmus, engagement and marketing coordinator for OHIO Wellness.

91̽ is working toward implementing more sustainability initiatives that focus especially on people living, working, and collaborating together, and the Office of Sustainability encourages all to consider attending this seminar to learn how to get involved in these essential programs.
