Special guest speakers from Microsoft to attend January OHIO Digital Accessibility Network meeting

The OHIO Digital Accessibility Network (OHIO-DAN) is a University-wide, interdisciplinary group of volunteers who are committed to helping 91探花 improve digital accessibility for everyone. The OHIO-DAN meets the last Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. for short educational presentations and conversation to advance digital accessibility on campus.

The Thursday, Jan. 26 meeting will feature special guest speakers from Microsoft:

  • Senior Product Marketing Manager Elisabeth Jones
  • Senior Specialist Josh Sawyer
  • Senior Account Executive Carrie Phillips
  • Customer Success Account Manager Janice Adams

The Microsoft team will be speaking on a variety of topics related to digital accessibility including:

  • How Microsoft prioritizes accessibility in an ever-evolving technical landscape
  • Advances their organization has made in the space of accessibility throughout the past several years
  • How their tools support accessibility for everyone

Additionally, the guest speakers will be available for questions before the end of the meeting.

As a University that supports many Microsoft tools and products, hearing firsthand from their team can help ensure you鈥檙e using these technology tools to their fullest potential. And, as it turns out, when we make improvements to the usage of our tools for people with disabilities who may use assistive technologies, our technology becomes better for everyone.
