The day started with a visit to the Wright Museum of African American History, where students walked through Black Americans' history, struggle, pain, triumphs, and joys. Saturday evening, the students attended an HBCU-themed Detroit Pistons game that celebrated the legacy and impact of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The trip was designed and organized by Dr. Russell Morrow, assistant dean for diversity, equity and inclusion in the College of Business.
