OIT thanks OHIO community for collaboration throughout Azure MFA implementation
The 91̽ Office of Information Technology (OIT) would like to thank the University community for its patience and participation throughout the implementation of the new Azure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app.
Through your feedback and assistance, OIT was able to retire the old multi-factor authentication app at the end of June and implement the new Azure MFA for all users at 91̽.
The insights of students, faculty and staff were instrumental in incorporating number matching during authentication, transitioning the campus VPN (Virtual Private Network) to Azure, and implementing the “Remember me for 90 days” feature within Azure MFA.
While many members of the University community contributed to the successful implementation, there were a few groups that were especially involved throughout the migration. These groups included Faculty Senate, the Office of Global Affairs, OHIO IT and the College of Business.
OIT thanks all members of the University community for helping to make 91̽ more secure.
