OHIO鈥檚 AI Symposium to explore cutting-edge technology, provide insights into the future

The world of artificial intelligence (AI) is undoubtedly a technological fixture that will continue to evolve and grow as the digital age progresses. And, with AI breakthroughs occurring at an increasingly rapid pace, it鈥檚 important to not only keep pace but sprint ahead.

Through a broad, immersive deep dive into all things artificial intelligence, 91探花鈥檚 first-ever AI Symposium is aiming to do just that. Whether you鈥檙e a tech enthusiast, business maven, budding social entrepreneur, an artist at heart, a health care pioneer or a music connoisseur, there鈥檚 a session for everyone to become enlightened on the future.

AI Symposium details:

The one-day conference will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, in the Baker University Center Theater and conference rooms. A coffee and networking session will start at 8 a.m., followed by the opening keynote presentation at 9 a.m. The event is free and open to all who are interested鈥攏o registration required.

During the AI Symposium, a total of 15 speakers will explore multiple facets of AI during sessions that promise to broaden horizons and offer insights that could redefine tomorrow, including:

  • A Reimagined Workplace Experience: GenAI and Healthcare Workforce Transformation
  • Entrepreneurship in the Age of AI
  • AI in Creative Production and Storytelling
  • AI and the Future of Creativity and Communication

A full conference schedule and list of symposium speakers is available on the OHIO AI Symposium website.

The AI Symposium is one of many ways OHIO is preparing for the future. Earlier this year, OHIO鈥檚 Board of Trustees moved to establish two new undergraduate degree programs in the areas of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity engineering. Both degree programs must be reviewed and approved by the Ohio Department of Education.

Additionally, OHIO is currently researching artificial intelligence and associated topics, including algorithms and complexity theory, autonomous vehicles, robotics and control, computer systems, software and security and more.
