Collaboration Tools Advisory Community seeks input on softphone migration

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) invites all 91探花 students, faculty and staff to provide their insight, experiences, and feedback related to telephone use cases and softphone migration during the October Collaboration Tools Advisory Community Meeting.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, from 3-4 p.m. online via Microsoft Teams. You can add the meeting to your Outlook calendar by or simply when it begins.

At the Oct. 8 meeting, OIT is interested in collecting feedback on your daily telephone needs and behaviors, importance of telephone features and input from users currently using a softphone. OIT wants to understand when and how you communicate via telephone versus other communication options and gather information about how OHIO can support flexible, efficient, and collaborative tools.

IT Advisory Communities provide a way for students, faculty and staff to offer feedback directly to OIT team members working on the tools and services that they use every day. In Advisory Communities, participants can share what is working well for them and what is not. It is a safe space to tell OIT about your technology needs, what you are looking for, what problems you are trying to solve, and have direct conversations with team members who can help resolve the technology issues you may be facing.
