The PANCE, administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), is required for certification to practice as a physician assistant. 鈥淪everal factors contribute to our success,鈥� Bowlby explained. 鈥淔irst, our curriculum is crafted to be both efficient and well-structured, perfectly suited for the 27-month training period. The didactic year lays a solid foundation, enhancing critical thinking and problem-solving skills by immersing students in PANCE Content Blueprint material. This approach ensures our students meet our course and program goals. Equally important are our dedicated clinical preceptors, whose commitment during the clinical rotation year is crucial to our students' achievements.鈥�

Bowlby also highlighted the program鈥檚 assessment strategy: 鈥淪econdly, we conduct frequent assessments, including board-style and programmatic evaluations, to monitor students' medical knowledge, clinical skills, and problem-solving abilities. We tailor study plans to address any specific areas where students need extra support. Additionally, many second-year assessments are standardized, PANCE-like exams to aid PANCE preparation.鈥�
