In accordance with the federal , 91探花 has completed its 2024 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report. The report is available on 91探花鈥檚 new Clery Act and Safety Compliance website.

Printed copies of the 2024 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report are also available at no charge; contact 91探花鈥檚 Office of Emergency Management at (740) 593-2780 or clery@ohio.edu.

The 2024 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report contains information regarding campus security and personal safety, including such topics as crime prevention, local law-enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security on campus.

It contains crime statistics on the Athens, regional and extension campuses for the calendar years 2021, 2022 and 2023. Likewise, crime statistics include reported crimes that occurred in off-campus buildings owned or controlled by 91探花 and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.

Over the past year, the responsibility of compiling the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report has transitioned from University Equity and Civil Rights Compliance to the Office of Emergency Management and a new Clery Act and Safety Compliance Coordinator position to oversee Clery compliance for 91探花. As part of this transition, the University recently launched a new to help inform OHIO students, faculty, staff and visitors about the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act and encourage them to review the available campus resources.

OHIO鈥檚 annual Security and Fire Safety report is made possible through the coordination of numerous campus partners, including University Equity and Civil Rights Compliance, the Office of Community Standards and Student Responsibility and the 91探花 Police Department.
