3. Complete the 91探花 Leadership Endorsement Foundations Badge

OHIO's Leadership Endorsement provides students with the opportunity to learn about leadership areas, build eight skills employers seek, reflect on personal growth, and prepare to articulate skill areas to employers and graduate or professional schools.

The Foundations of Leadership Badge is achieved upon completion of an overview course for each of the eight skill areas.

4. Collect Bank Account Information for Direct Deposit

We will need your bank name, address, and routing number as well as your account number. Bring this information to orientation.

5. Know your Social Security Number

Even if you choose not to use your social security card as a form of identification in the 1-9 process, you will need to know your social security number during orientation.

6. Review OPERS Information

Employees of 91探花 do not pay into Social Security. OPERS (Ohio Public Employees Retirement System) is the retirement program for all employees who work for 91探花. When completing new hire paperwork, you will be asked if you would like to opt out of OPERS.

Be prepared to make that decision, as it is an irrevocable decision for the entire period that you are continuously employed and working as an eligible student employee at OHIO.
