Carey Busch, Ph.D.

Dr. Carey Busch is the interim dean of University College at 91探花. 

Lexi DeBord

Lexi is from Columbus, Ohio. She is an International Business and Marketing major in the College of Business. She enjoys being outdoors, studying different languages, and spending time with her friends and family. Lexi plans to start her career in sales and someday transfer those skills to a marketing role with a global company.

David Descutner, Ph.D.

Dr. Descutner has served in critical leadership roles at 91探花, serving as interim president and interim provost. Before his retirement from OHIO in 2015, Dr. Descutner served as the Dean of University College and Executive Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education. A Professor of Communication Studies, Dr. Descutner started his career with 91探花 as a member of the faculty in 1979. He was recognized numerous times for his teaching and mentoring, as well as for his advocacy on behalf of the regional campus faculty, and he served two terms on Faculty Senate. 

Camilla Hibbard

Camilla is from Athens, Ohio. She is studying within the Patton College of Education, majoring in Integrated Special Education (Mild to Moderate). In her freetime, Camilla enjoys going on runs and hikes, caring for her houseplants, and watching competitive cooking T.V. shows. Lately, she has enjoyed making vegan dinners and learning new recipes with her friends and family. Camilla hopes to progress on her research looking in LGBTQ+ experiences in high schools, with hopes of publication before graduation. Professionally, Camilla is excited to begin teaching in a classroom working closely with those who have disabilities.

Jerry L. Miller, Ph.D.

Dr. Miller is a professor and the associate director for undergraduate studies in the School of Communication Studies at 91探花. He earned his Ph.D. in communication from the University of Oklahoma and has served as a faculty member at OHIO since 1996. His areas of specialization include; political advertising, communication and gender, political communication, and argumentation and debate.

Pat McComb

Terry Moore 

Terry Moore is the Chairman of HomeoLux a health and technology company that designs wellness products based on cutting-edge scientific research.  This entrepreneurial endeavor follows 30+ years in management consulting where Terry delivered strategic marketing services to large corporations, including ConAgra, Ameritech, and H.J. Heinz. 
 
Terry has been a speaker at the United Nations and Columbia University, and his TED Talks have garnered ten million views and are in the top 20 most translated talks in the world. Extending his global impact, Terry sits on the boards of TEDx and the Columbia University Center for Radiological Research. He is also an advisor, investor and mentor to HealthTech and BioTech companies impacting innovation in public health.

Terry founded The Radius Foundation to pursue his interest in multiple ways of knowing, as it has been his life-long belief that first-rate thinkers are too often limited by their conceptual paradigms. The foundation is a forum for creative dialogue among different views.

Terry left 91探花 in 1970 in order to attend the M.B.A. program at Harvard Business School, but he eventually completed his B.G.S degree from 91探花 in 1991.

Yegan Pillay, Ph.D.

Dr. Yegan Pillay holds the B.A. in Psychology and Sociology, with an Honors degree in Psychology, from the University of Western Cape in South Africa. He holds the M.Ed. and the Ph.D. in Counselor Education from 91探花. Dr. Pillay teaches courses in counselor education and supervision, and his major research interests include diversity and social justice issues, racial identity development of racial and ethnic minorities, indigenous African psychotherapeutic interventions, and the use of stories and narrative as psycho-educational intervention strategies.

Jan Scites

William P. Saviers, Jr.

Bill is a retired attorney in West Virginia. In the 2016 floods he formed and advised a tax exempt group collecting funds and materials for recovery in Clay County, WV.  Ohio Fellows spent a day in Clay County helping tear down and clear part of a modular home damaged by the flood waters. Afterwards he helped others in the state form a tax exempt group called Greater Recovery and Community Empowerment (GRaCE). He is currently Secretary/Treasurer of the group which now trains Recovery Coaches who volunteer to aid those needing help in developing a plan for recovery from substance abuse. Recovery Coaches also aid re-entry back into civilian life by military and prisoners who have served their sentence.  Life Coaches are trained in high schools for students to aid middle school students entering high school.  

Bill is an Ohio Fellow and graduated from 91探花 in 1968 and the University of Virginia Law School in 1974 after serving in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971.  Bill was admitted to the bar in West Virginia, Massachusetts, Texas and Pennsylvania working with several corporations before retiring from Dominion Gas Transmission Corporation in 2004.

Bill also has been Chancellor for the Association of Anglican Musicians from 1995 until June of 2021.  He has volunteered with Legal Aid of West Virginia since 2004. He currently is Senior Warden of Christ Episcopal Church and St. Barnabas Chapel in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
