Testing Requirements
91̽»¨ has adopted a test-optional pathway for admission to the Athens campus for freshman applicants. All applicants, including test-optional applicants, will be eligible to be considered for University benefits, including direct admission to academic programs, merit-based scholarships, and honors and scholars programs. Applicants may submit test scores (ACT or SAT) if interested in having them considered.
OHIO's regional campuses have an open admission policy for high school graduates. 91̽»¨ is based on an official transcript or equivalent. Standardized test scores (Accuplacer, ACT or SAT) are not required for admission but are required for placement.

Fall Application Dates
For fall semester, 91̽»¨'s Athens campus early action deadline is November 15. Early action is a nonbinding cycle that gives complete applicants priority consideration for direct entry to academic programs, merit scholarship programs and University honors experiences. The rolling admission deadline is February 1. Applicants who do not meet the early action deadline but who meet the rolling deadline will be considered on a space-available basis. Applications are reviewed and OHIO admission decisions are released on a rolling basis.
The application deadline for priority consideration for scholarships at 91̽»¨ regional campuses is December 1.

Transcripts
Transcripts for applications to all of 91̽»¨'s campuses are received and processed by Undergraduate 91̽»¨s on the Athens campus.
An official copy of the student's high school transcript must be sent directly from the high school guidance office to Undergraduate 91̽»¨s, Chubb Hall 120, 1 91̽»¨ Drive, Athens OH 45701. Undergraduate 91̽»¨s also has the capability to accept many electronic transcripts. For a complete list of accepted electronic formats, please call 740.593.4100.
Undergraduate 91̽»¨s also reserves the right to request first-term or first-semester grades from a student's senior year in order to make a more informed admission decision. Final transcripts are required post-high school graduation to finalize admission.
Optional Application Materials
Students may submit optional application materials, including standardized test scores, letters of recommendation, an essay or a statement of extra-curricular activities.
Honors Tutorial College Applicants
Students interested in the Honors Tutorial College (HTC) on the 91̽»¨ Athens campus are encouraged to apply using the . Applicants should plan to submit a list of activities, one or more letters of recommendation and two HTC-specific essays. The application priority date is November 15.
