Biography

Sam Ghawe is an Assistant Professor at the College of Business, 91̽»¨. He holds a Ph.D. in Digital Technology from the Smith School of Business, Queen's University. His research focuses on digital transformation, digital innovation, and strategic alignment. Dr. Ghawe also holds a master's degree in engineering from the University of Toronto and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Western University. Before joining the doctoral program at the Smith School of Business, he worked in several industries as an engineer, project manager, and VP of operations. Dr. Ghawe has published at several leading information systems conferences. He has also co-authored articles published in the Communications of the Association for Information Systems and the Foundations and Trends® in Information Systems journals. He teaches courses in cybersecurity and strategic use of information systems at the undergraduate and MBA levels.
