Research Interests
Dr. Gidycz is actively involved with conducting research on sexual assault and is particularly interested in the evaluation of sexual assault prevention and risk reduction programs. She has developed The 91̽»¨ Sexual Assault Risk Reduction Program, a curriculum designed to reduce women's risk for sexual victimization. She also has worked with other experts in the field to develop a curriculum that addresses sexual assault prevention issues with men. Additional interests center around the predictors of sexual aggression in men, the efficacy of risk reduction tactics for women, and the trauma associated with all forms of violence.
