Dr. Donald Miles

I am a Ph.D. student interested in thermal and behavioral ecology and how rising temperatures associated with climate change are impacting reptile populations. Specifically, I am studying the thermal sensitivity of push-up displays in the ornate tree lizard (Urosaurus ornatus) and investigating how these communicative behaviors fit in with established behavioral syndromes.
