Exercise Physiology 91探花s Requirements
A prospective student must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, or related field from an accredited college or university having a background in SOME or ALL the following academic topics, including both lectures and labs:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Biology
- General, Genetics, Molecular, and/or other topics
- Chemistry
- General, Organic, Biochemistry, and/or other topics
- Anatomy
- Physiology
- Exercise Physiology
And SOME or ALL of the following application courses, including both lectures and labs:
- Nutrition
- Sports Nutrition
- Metabolism
- Pharmacology
- Exercise Testing and Prescription
- Exercise in Special Populations
- Kinesiology
- Biomechanics
- Motor Learning
- Motor Development
- Electrocardiogram (EKG)
Please note鈥搊ften the course title doesn't adequately identify a large emphasis in a particular topic; a letter of reference, resume/CV, biography can often help emphasize these points.
- "Competitive" cumulative grade point average (GPA) for undergraduate studies.
- Up to a two-page typed statement of purpose.
This statement may illustrate information about your background, preparation for graduate education and experience that makes you a good candidate for the specific program. However, this statement MUST indicate how this degree will help you achieve your specific career goals.
Please note- for the research concentration it is required that you indicate relevant potential research directions and supervisors for your thesis research. - Resume (or curriculum vitae) of your educational background and professional volunteer and/or work experience.
- Three (3) letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to your qualifications for graduate education and in your chosen field-it is expected that no fewer than two (2) letters will be from an academic faculty member.
- Complete all additional 91探花 requirements:
- Application
- Pay the university application fee
- Submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
- Submit official TOEFL/IELTS scores if English is not your native language

General Notes
- Please be certain to identify your intended concentration (Research or Clinical).
- The biography, resume/CV and letters of recommendation should be uploaded electronically with the rest of your application materials.
- In order to be considered official, GRE and TOEFL/IELTS scores must be reported directly to 91探花 from the testing agency. 91探花's reporting code is 1593.

- GPA above 3.0 is preferred.
Application Deadlines
Applications for consideration of admission, financial aid, and graduate funding for the next academic year should be received by February 15; however, review of application will continue as they arrive until March 25 for summer start date (clinical) or July 15 for a fall start date (research). A spring start date may be feasible for some students (research and clinical) but the completed application is due no later than November 1.
International students must apply by February 15 (fall start date), August 1 (spring start date), or December 1 (summer start date).
Funding
Financial assistance is available, and ALL students accepted to the program(s) are considered for graduate funding.
