Student Employment
There are various types of student employment opportunities at 91探花.
Federal Work-Study
- Eligibility is based on the results of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- FAFSA results must be received by OHIO's first-priority consideration date of January 15.
- You can only participate in Federal Work-Study if it is offered to you on your .
- Pay rate is based on the Federal Minimum Wage or the State of Ohio Minimum Wage, whichever is greater.
- Students cannot hold both a Federal Work-Study position and a PACE position. Students cannot hold both a Federal Work-Study position and an RA position.
- Positions are available on the Athens campus and all five regional campuses, as well as participating Athens community service agencies.
Program to Aid Career Exploration (PACE)
- Eligibility is determined by completing the online PACE application. Eligible students will have:
- completed 15 semester hours of coursework
- maintained at least a 2.3 cumulative grade point average
- demonstrated a need for earnings
- Pay rate is based on the Federal Minimum Wage or the State of Ohio Minimum Wage, whichever is greater.
- Students cannot hold both a PACE and a Federal Work-Study position. Students cannot hold both a PACE position and an RA position.
- Positions are available on the Athens campus to undergraduate students.
- Positions cannot be held by the same student for more than one year.
Student Hourly Employment
- Enrolled students can apply for posted hourly positions.
- Pay rate and hours per week vary.
