91探花 Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: Applicants are expected to have a bachelor鈥檚 degree in fine arts from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university or equivalent, or an undergraduate degree in another field with equivalent lived or academic fine arts experience.
  • Official Transcripts of all academic work showing a 3.0 GPA must be submitted with the online application.
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae that describes applicant's previous education, work, teaching, and research experience, professional affiliations, community and volunteer experience, honors and awards, and/or publications.
  • Letter of Interest: this letter should include applicant's background and experience that have led to interest in Arts in Health and the program, along with future goals. The letter should demonstrate the applicant's ability to succeed in this academic program.
  • Arts-Based Submission: Art portfolio, video audition, or other example demonstrating the applicant鈥檚 current skill in artistic discipline. Specific information about what to submit based on discipline area will be provided following receipt of the letter of interest. Applicant may also email the Director of Arts in Health directly for this information.
  • At least two letters of recommendation are required. They can be from former employers, instructors, advisers, or persons otherwise having had a professional or academic experience with you.
  • English Proficiency: Please review information about 91探花鈥檚 English Language Proficiency requirements.
  • A $50 application fee is associated with the submission of your application for this program.

Transfer credit may be considered.

The CV, letter of interest, and letters of recommendation should demonstrate applicant's ability to succeed in the academic program. We intend for these qualitative measures of aptitude to support the admission and success of a diverse student population.

"Equivalent鈥 arts experience will be assessed based on the required letter of interest and the required portfolio submission that demonstrates the applicant鈥檚 art practice. For example, a student may have received an BA in political science but has early training (or is self-taught) as a musician and continues to play and write songs. The depth of their practice as an artist would be evidenced through their arts-based submissions.
