Jody Lamb
Interim Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Emeritus Associate Professor of Art History
An emeritus associate professor of art history, Lamb first joined 91探花 in 1991 as an assistant professor in the Department of Art History in the School of Art + Design.
He has held many leadership positions in the college during his tenure, some of which include: associate Dean of the College of Fine Arts (2007-21); interim director, associate director, graduate director, and curriculum chair of the School of Art + Design; director of the School of Dance, Film and Theater; and director of the School of Film.
Before joining OHIO, Lamb served as visiting professor of art history at the University of Kansas and visiting professor of art history at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Dr. Lamb is an art historian who specializes in Nineteenth Century and early Twentieth Century art and the History of Photography, primarily writing and lecturing on social issues related to the late Victorian and Edwardian art world in London.
He is a founder of the Historians of British Art, a professional organization of scholars and students specializing in the art and architecture of Great Britain. At OHIO, he has led much loved education abroad programs to London and Edinburgh since 1992, the December Intersession Exploring Art in London and the summer Art, Art History and Film in London and Edinburgh (the latter offered every other year).
