About Our Community
The sorority and fraternity community at 91探花 was founded over 175 years ago by the chartering of one national fraternity. Years later, the first sorority received its charter, recognizing the importance, values and principles of fraternal organizations for both men and women. Later, the community expanded with the chartering of the first traditionally African-American fraternity.
In future years, the addition of multicultural fraternities and sororities made 91探花鈥檚 sorority and fraternity community the unique and culturally diverse student experience it is today. Our community has grown to close to 1,700 students within 4 councils. The College Panhellenic Council (CPC), the Interfraternity Council (IFC), the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) pride themselves on individuality, while recognizing common values and principles.
