As a standard security protocol, depending on the circumstances of the separation, access to all university IT systems will be terminated on or before the official date of separation. Retirees will be granted continued email account access. Any other exception to this protocol must be approved by University Human Resources and Information Technology Security. Requests must be made by a sponsoring department with a specific date range and reason, and should be sent to uhr@ohio.edu.
NOTE: When system access is terminated, former employees will no longer have access to information contained within the 'My Personal Information' (MPI) portal. This includes access to pay information and current and past W2 statements. If circumstances permit, you may access MPI and download needed information prior to your separation date; otherwise, you may contact payroll@ohio.edu to arrange for hard copies to be mailed to you.
