Anatomy Laboratory

Osteopathic Heritage Foundation Anatomy Laboratory

This is the building where students learn human anatomy. This instruction is made possible by the selfless contributions of individuals who donate their bodies to further medical education and research. High magnification cameras and large-screen displays allow faculty to zoom in on structures and broadcast images throughout the room.

Resources and Support

Technology/AV Support

Dublin Office of Medical Education Technology (OMET) team members are available to provide in-room support with installed audio, video and conferencing equipment within Heritage College instruction and lab spaces. Additionally, OMET staff members can assist campus constituents and guests with wireless access, networking issues, application troubleshooting and desktop support. Dublin OMET personnel are based at the LRC Help Desk on the first floor of MEB1. To reach the Help Desk, please contact 614.793.5678. For work order requests, please email hcomtech@ohio.edu.

Student Lockers & Changing Spaces

Student locker rooms are located in two Dublin campus building locations. Women鈥檚 (MEB1 220) and Men鈥檚 (MEB1 222) student locker rooms are located conveniently next to the Medical Education Building 1 (MEB1 231) OMM lab. Additionally, the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation Anatomy Laboratory facility contains Women鈥檚 and Men鈥檚 student locker rooms for use prior to lab and with associated exercise (gym) spaces within the same building, as both locker spaces have adjoining showers. Each student will be assigned a locker in both building locations. Students will receive their locker assignment at first-year Orientation, and are expected to provide locks for their lockers. Standard locker-sized combination or keyed locks work best. It is suggested to find a pair of locks that use the same combination or key.

Facilities Support

On the Dublin campus, facility and building services are coordinated through an external property management firm. If needing to submit a service or internal room set-up request, please contact hcomfacilities@ohio.edu. Submitting a work order best guides service requests to coordinating vendors as it relates to custodial, heating/cooling, vending, access controls, interior maintenance, equipment repair and exterior landscaping. .

Campus Security

A 24 hour-per-day, 7 day-per-week security presence actively monitors all campus facilities. Uniformed security personnel provide first response and prompt notification of reported campus incidents. Site officers actively maintain a security front desk in MEB1 and monitoring of a central reporting phone line to maintain accessibility to campus constituents. Security personnel can be reached at 614.499.5324
