Osteopathic medicine is more than a model. It's our mindset.
The Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine offers a traditional 4-year undergraduate D.O. medical degree, as well as four other dual-degree medical programs. The dual-degree programs allow students to pursue their medical education while also incorporating other interest areas.
Our educational offerings are complemented by pre-medical and summer programs for students getting ready for medical school, followed by robust residency options and opportunities for continuing medical education after they graduate.

Pre-Clinical EducationYears 1 and 2Beginning with intensive training and osteopathic manipulative medicine, you鈥檒l divide your learning time between the lab, lecture hall, and clinical settings, building a strong foundation with hands-on experience.

Clinical EducationYears 3 and 4Your second two years will put your knowledge and skills to the test in real-world clinical settings, exposing you to many different medical specialties while you learn under some of today鈥檚 brightest physicians.

Residencies
The path toward becoming a D.O. doesn鈥檛 end once a medical student receives a degree. Then comes the hospital-based training. Through the Heritage College鈥檚 many hospital partners, graduates pursue a host of specialties, from dermatology to emergency medicine to family medicine to pediatrics.
