Patton College faculty member Courtney Koestler gives EdTalk on how Teaching is not Neutral

Dr. Courtney Koestler is the Director of the OHIO Center for Equity in Mathematic and Science in The Patton College of Education at 91探花 and is a former public elementary and middle school teacher who has taught in culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse communities. Originally from Ohio, Koestler is an alum from OHIO with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in elementary education with a concentration in mathematics, a master鈥檚 degree from George Mason University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Koestler鈥檚 scholarship centers on diversity, equity, social justice, and critical pedagogies in PreK-6 education, teacher education, and mathematics education, and most recently on privilege and oppression in schools, schooling, and teacher education.
