鈥淜ristin鈥檚 passion for teaching and research is on display each day, and her continued commitment to her craft, combined with the overwhelming support she鈥檚 received from her peers to take on this new leadership role, make her the perfect choice for SPH鈥檚 next director,鈥 said Interim Dean John McCarthy. 鈥淚鈥檓 excited to work with Kristin and continue to elevate CHSP鈥檚 health and social service offerings to a national level.鈥
Schuller is well known across the college and by her colleagues for her relentless commitment to student support and service in health.

Schuller will be replacing current SPH director Dr. Michele Morrone, who plans to serve in an increased capacity within CHSP鈥檚 Environmental Health Science program and continue to foster social and public health collaborations across the region.
鈥淢ichele has provided excellent leadership to the unit, and I鈥檓 happy to see her provide continued contributions in CHSP programs,鈥 Interim Dean McCarthy said.
Schuller, a 2007 OHIO graduate in health services administration, received her Ph.D. in health services policy and management from the University of South Carolina in 2012.
