AI discussion sessions to be held over coffee in March, April

A new discussion series focused on AI and its implications on higher education will be held at 91探花 in March and April.

All OHIO faculty, staff and graduate students are invited to the AI Coffees on March 6 and 20 and April 3 and 10.

Hosted by the Center for Teaching, Learning and Assessment's seasoned AI and Higher Education Faculty Learning Community facilitators Paul Shovlin, associate professor of instruction, English, and Erin Morgenstern, assistant to the Vice President for Priority Projects, AI Coffees are designed to broaden potential topics covered and individuals engaged in the conversation.

Participants will enjoy vigorous discussions about how we can use AI in our workflows and classroom practice or share broader concerns regarding its proliferation. And, of course, participants will also enjoy coffee or tea during the morning events.

AI Coffees will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. in the CTLA Collaboratory, 106/108 McGuffey Hall. Those planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP so that the organizers will know how many pots of coffee to brew.
