The George Voinovich School recently won two of the three 2024 Impact Awards given out in Ohio by the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO).
The Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service has received a $500,000 grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission’s Appalachian Regional Initiative for Stronger Economies (ARISE) initiative.
The Sustainability Awards are given to individuals, departments and organizations nominated by their peers for contributions to campus and the local community.
This year featured more than 110 students from eight counties in Southeast Ohio who competed in areas ranging from behavioral sciences and microbiology to physics, mathematics and engineering.
