Undergraduate Advising
Earning a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a major in Information and Telecommunication Systems (ITS) requires 120 credit hours. You will earn 39 of those hours within the school and earn the balance in other 91探花 schools and departments. You must complete 10 courses from other units: five from the College of Business, two in Economics, and one each in Statistics, Programming, and Public Speaking. See the for a detailed list. (Note the J. Warren McClure School of Information and Telecommunication Systems has recently changed to the J. Warren McClure School of Emerging Communication Technologies. The name will be updated in future catalogs. The ITS degree stays the same.)
Your academic advisor is your guide to both the McClure School and 91探花. You and your advisor work together to plan your academic and post-college career and to take the necessary steps to see that plan through.
The University Academic Advising Council has specific expectations for advisors and advisees.
